It all began back in 1988 when Ted was 15 years of age. Ted was a very ambitious young fella with a head full of ideas and dreams. He decided to take the next step and started building his dream. In 1989 Ted bought his first car which happened to be a MK2 1968 Cortina. Ted started from scratch and decided to transform his Cortina into a drag car.

By the age of 17 years old, Ted had completed his drag Car and had built his own engine. He placed a 4V 351 Cleveland Engine which ran with Nitrous Oxide. At the time the car was running at a speed of 9.7 seconds. Ted was featured on Channel 9 Sports while racing at Calder Park back in 1991.

Many people who know Ted and who have worked with Ted over the years would consider him to be a Perfectionist and a Wizard when it comes to Rebuilding engines and Diagnosing where the faults are in an Engine.

Ted has over 21 years experience and has kept up with the times and technologies. In 1996 Ted went through a rough patch in his life and sold his pride and joy the Cortina. However in 1999 he met his lovely wife Martine who supported him and inspired him to follow his true life path of starting up his own business. So in 2007 after working for so many years and managing other Companies in the Engine Reconditioning trade Ted took the big jump and started up his own business.

Ted missed his old Cortina so much that his wife Martine got sick of hearing about it, so she placed an advertisement in the Dragster Australia magazine looking for his old Cortina. To their surprise the Car happen to be in Burleigh Heads, of the Sunshine Coast. He managed to get it back here to Melbourne and it was in a very good conditioned after 12 years away,
Ted felt like a very big piece of him came back to him.

Ted is currently doing a few modifications to the car, the engine has changed of course from the 4V 351 Cleveland Engine to a 408 Stroker Cleveland and is still running at a reasonable time of 9.5 seconds at over 140mph, But Ted won’t stop at that as he has other plans, which you will see coming soon.
